yeah, there's a variety of types of skirts but the pleated rectangle ones typically use 3-6 meters of fabric if that helps! 6 meters is usually gonna be what you see in the most polished videos since it'll get you the most floof.

Do you mean the pibo? It’s just a really long rectangle, usually like 3 meters by 45cm. Usually people don’t have fabric that long so you can sew two 1.5m pieces or three 1m pieces of fabric together and hem the edges.
