This is kind of a silly question, but...
Would someone please explain to me the difference between a mamianqun and a baidiequn?

It’s like having two smooth "doors" covering the pleats when you stand still . Baidiequn is fully pleated all around, giving it a more uniform, flowy look. No "doors" here! .
