As a foreigner, what do you mean by appropiation? And what is the view of cultural appreciation? I went through these terms in youtube. But there’s less chance of discussion. I think it’s true for not only hanfu but all other traditional dresses that're worn worldwide.

lllen : I think the worst thing is when someone clearly know the name of one traditional dress, but still says it as another dress in public. You can never wake up a person who is pretending to be asleep.
