Here's how I remember the different hanfu styles. 1. as a whole: quju, zhiju, robe. Quju and zhiju are relatively simple. (or maybe I don't know the in-depth classification), robe has three kinds of Tang, Song and Ming. 2. the top and skirt are separate: ruqun, shan, aoqun. These three are common in hanfu, and there are very many subdivisions styles. The ruqun is mainly from the wei and jin dynasties, where the bottom of the top has an extra piece of fabric than the shan. The shanqun, combined with the position of the waist of the skirt, can be divided into several styles like qixiong shanqun, qiyao shanqun and so on. Aoqun, in fact, it is difficult for me to distinguish all the types of aoqun, long and short, etc. There is much more to hanfu styles than that, so I look forward to other group members' additions.😊
As male hanfu. Pao (normal robe, Yesa, Feiyufu, Daopao, Zhiduo, Zhishen)......😂 Why are all men's hanfus are robes.
Some common styles of modern hanfu are listed in this article: https://www.newhanfu.com/525.html If there are any omissions, please let the author know via private message.
maybe more than thirty?
Roughly estimated more than ten kinds. However, in modern hanfu styles, there may be many different styles of the same hanfu. For example, in Ming dynasty hanfu, there are 3-4 different styles of collars.
Wow
Oh, it's really too too many
There are toooooo many that I can’t even remember and would mess up between Tang and I think Ming or Song Dynasty
