I've been looking into how the construction of ming dynasty hanfu, but I've seen a complete lack of information on the the types of handstiches they used for seams and hems. I assumed they knew how to do a basic slip stitches. But are historical hanfu garments made entirely with slip stitches like kimonos? I feel like that's unlikely. Any ideas?
