themed "Robes Roaming Langyuan · Grace Illuminating Splendor," will be held from March 29 to 30 in Sichuan’s ancient Langzhong City. Centered on blending historical heritage with modern innovation, the event features a grand "Dynasty Carnival" parade showcasing Han, Tang, Song, and Ming dynasty-inspired processions, alongside themed performances like the "Spring Festival Elder" Luo Xiahong with celestial maidens and armored reenactments of General Zhang Fei’s battalion.
Key highlights include immersive cultural experiences: a 24-solar-term-themed Qunwo Banquet market, 非遗 workshops (lacquer fans, shadow puppetry), traditional wedding ceremonies, and dynamic displays of ancient military drills at Zhangfei Square. Visitors dressed in Hanfu or reciting Langzhong-themed poetry enjoy free access to cultural sites, while discounts apply to river cruises, live performances like Shu Dao Shengshi, and accommodations.
Co-organized by over 40 local departments and businesses, the festival integrates Langzhong’s intangible heritage, such as 福字拓印 (blessing-character rubbings) and 皮影 (shadow plays), into interactive activities. Extended through early April, this third edition reinforces Langzhong—a UNESCO-listed ancient town—as a hub for reviving traditional culture through 国潮 (China-chic) celebrations, offering travelers a seamless blend of historical immersion and modern hospitality.
