Jiangxi Province, celebrating spring amid vast seas of blooming rapeseed flowers. Held from March 8 to May 5, 2025, the event blended traditional customs with natural landscapes under the theme "Cliffside Ancient Village, Terraced Flower Fields," drawing over 10,000 visitors.
Highlights included a Hanfu-clad "Flower Goddess" procession blessing the ancient village, interactive "flower-selling" vendors, and lively spring farming dances. A "Floral Market" showcased handicrafts, local delicacies, and 非遗漆扇 (lacquer fan) workshops, while themed photo spots dotted flower fields. Visitors immersed themselves in activities like floral banquets and 农耕农趣 (farm-themed experiences), creating a nostalgic rural ambiance.
Huangling, newly designated a National 5A Tourist Attraction in 2024, leveraged its iconic 梯田花海 (terraced flower fields) and Hui-style architecture to strengthen cultural tourism. Xie Qiaojuan, the resort’s Planning and Promotion Director, highlighted the festival’s evolution since 2018 into a signature spring event.
By integrating folk traditions with immersive experiences, the festival promoted rural tourism while preserving heritage. Future plans include expanding themed activities to position Huangling as a comprehensive destination for cultural immersion and 生态康养 (eco-wellness), reinforcing its status as China’s "homesickness experience hub."
