On March 8, 2025, the "Women in Bloom, Splendid Attire" event was held at the Chang'an Nishenglui Hanfu Cultural Block in Shaanxi Province to celebrate International Women's Day. Organized by the Shaanxi Senior Talent Institute Western Manager Club and hosted by Chang'an Nishenglui Commercial Operations Management Co., Ltd., the event aimed to honor outstanding women across industries and promote intangible cultural heritage (ICH) .
The ceremony began with a speech by Gao Suiyin, Director of the Shaanxi Senior Talent Institute, extending festive greetings to women professionals in tourism, healthcare, technology, and ICH preservation. Over 100 exemplary women were recognized, including senior executives and ICH inheritors. Notable honorees included Duan Xiaoyu (creator of the viral "Bowl-Smashing Wine" tourism IP), Liang Tinghui (guardian of "Beilin Shadow Carving"), and Qi Yanyu (master of scented sachet knotting), among others celebrated for their contributions to cultural preservation and industrial innovation.
The event featured vibrant ICH-themed performances: Hanfu fashion shows, tea ceremonies, magic acts like "Silk from Empty Hands," and musical performances such as the duet "My Beautiful Homeland." Chang'an Nishenglui, a hub for Hanfu culture with over 100 Hanfu shops and Shaanxi delicacies, allowed visitors to immerse in traditional attire and local cuisine.
By highlighting women's achievements and ICH vitality, the event inspired broader societal engagement in cultural preservation. Moving forward, Chang'an Nishenglui plans to host more ICH-themed activities under the "ICH Year" initiative, fostering deeper cultural exchanges and revitalizing traditions.
