When talking about celebrity in the modern Hanfu, Shiyin will surely come to mind. She not only has been dedicated to the promotion of traditional and modern Hanfu, but also often shares the traditional Chinese culture with everyone.
Shiyin shares six different styles of modern Hanfu look in her latest video, let's take a look.
LOOK 1 - Street Cool Girl Style
For the first set, Shiyin chose a Ming-style Duijin Duan Shan (lapel short shirts) with a very special color clashing design, which is perfect for a cool street style look even though it is a men's style.
Shiyin chose to turn down the collar, one of the corners of the shirt tucked into the bottom, and the sleeves on both sides can be rolled up. Then, she paired it with denim shorts in the same color and a leather necklace.
LOOK 2 - Fresh style
The second Hanfu item is a women's semi-transparent Ming-style Li Ling Duijin Duan Shan (standing collar lapel short shirts) with a very fresh design.
Wearing a camisole inside, unbuttoning the shirt, turning the collar out, and tying a knot in front of the waist. The bottom with light-colored denim shorts or denim skirt, to get a fresh summer look.
LOOK 3 - Preppy style
Shiyin's third look is based on a modified version of Ming-style Bijia, which adds a suit element to the traditional Bijia. Inside with a simple white shirt or white T-shirt. The lower clothing chose the same color preppy style pleated skirt. The overall look is very age-defying and youthful.
LOOK 4
The fourth set of mix-and-match Hanfu items is a Song-style airplane sleeve short shirt. On top of the original short shirt, add a metallic belt of the same color to accentuate the waistline. Underneath, choose a short skirt of the same color. Finally with a pair of high heels, perfect.
LOOK 5 - Trendy Style
The fifth look starts with a cross-neck short shirt in a patchwork color that can be paired with a Song-style two-piece skirt. But Shiyin chose to pair it with white wide-leg jeans for an overall more casual and a bit more neutral look.
LOOK 6 - City Girl Style
For the sixth set, Hanfu was chosen for both the top and the bottom skirt. The top was a simple Song straight-necked airplane sleeve, and the bottom was a Song two-piece skirt.
The essence of this look is mainly in the embellishments, such as the black inner wear, and the geometric feeling bag carried outside, and the diagonal metal chain. It adds a touch of avant-garde to the original traditional hanfu. It's like a city girl with a gentle and competent temperament.
