In fact, this is a kind of costume of the Ming Dynasty in ancient China, called "Ci Fu (赐服)".

Ci Fu in ancient times can be understood as the clothes given to you by the emperor. Only the relatives of the emperor, the ministers of merit, or the tribal chiefs can get it.

There are four kinds of Ci Fu:

• Python Robe (蟒袍, manɡ páo),
• Flying Fish Robe (飞鱼袍, fēi yú páo),
• Bullfight Robe (斗牛袍, dòu niú páo),
• Unicorn Robe (麒麟袍, qí lín páo );

The difference between the four is mainly due to the different patterns. (Remember, the flying fish suit is not a flying fish, but the pattern is called flying fish, it is actually more like a dragon.)
